Financial Assistance

 

The YMCA is proud of its heritage and commitment to make its character-building, family-enriching programs available to everyone in our community. Annually, we receive support from members, community leaders and businesses who believe in our mission to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. They contribute generously to our Strong Kids Annual Fund. These funds are distributed to families with a documented financial need.

 

In 2009, we awarded more than $350,000 in scholarships to help youth, adults and families participate in programs they couldn’t otherwise afford. It’s our goal to make our programs and services available to everyone regardless of their ability to pay. Please call 773.947.0700 for more information or to apply for assistance.

 

A waiver or reduction of fees is available subject to facility and program capacity, and demonstrated need, without regard to race, color, nationality, religion, gender, age, or disability.
