What we do
The South Side YMCA is a place that brings diverse ethnic and socioeconomic groups together in one facility. When you walk into the South Side Y, you can feel the warmth, the energy and the camaraderie. You can see it in the child who is learning to swim or is participating in one of our youth programs like YBA or day camp… in the adult playing ball in the gym or taking the time to mentor our youth… in the senior taking one of our senior-friendly classes.
